how to shop for your wedding dress
1)Schedule an appointment with the bridal salon of your choice to ensure that a dressing room and personal consultant will be available to help you try on gowns.
Invite only your mother and one close friend to accompany you. Any more opinions will only add anxiety.
2)Most salons offer a wide selection of gown styles all in one size to allow them to carry a larger selection so they may not have your exact size.
A salon consultant will always assist you in trying on dresses and will be invaluable in helping you select styles that flatter your best features and camouflage the flaws. Trust her and share your preferences with her. Don’t be afraid to speak up about what you do and don’t like about the gowns you’re trying on.
3) Try on all different styles, even those you normally wouldn’t choose. This is the only time where you will get to try on endless wedding dresses! However, keep in mind, if any feature of a gown makes you uneasy while simply trying it on, think of the discomfort on your wedding day.
Don’t forget about lingerie. Once you’ve selected your gown, ask your consultant for recommendations for appropriate undergarments. Be sure to bring these items to your dress fittings

{My Bride Story} Weddings & Events is a full-service event planning company serving Southern California and beyond.
We understand the importance of perfection, the need for details, and the uniqueness of each individual’s style and personality that are all key elements to the stressfulness of an event. From chic and luxurious to charming and vintage, we pride ourselves in personable experience we provide each of our clients.
Each event is carefully planned and coordinated by owner Esther Kim. Upon graduating from UCI with a Psychology and Social Behavior degree, she later joined Campus Crusade for Christ to work with college students; mentoring, discipling, and training leadership. Through five years of service in this organization, Esther has also been in charge of transforming and executing many special events such as charity banquets, senior banquets, staff retreats and conferences up to over 1000 students. However, it is perhaps Esther's true gift in her management of weddings started to shine when other staff and college pastors needed assistance with their weddings. Thus her positive attitude, graciousness and sense of style have earned her praise. What started out as a pure desire to serve them five years ago has now become her strength – intimate knowledge and attention to detail, her ability to demonstrate trust and confidence with her clients. As soon as she officially launched {My Bride Story} as a wedding consulting and event coordination services business in 2007, Esther has been a very much sought after planner. Ever the entrepreneur, Esther now assures each bride and groom a personable planning experience that is unique and custom to their specific needs, often times going beyond her clients' expectations.
{My Bride Story} is joined by a small team of talented event production assistants and we proudly donate 15-20% of our total income to non-profit organizations such as Campus Crusade for Christ, World Vision and Frontiers Missions.
