Emily and Eric tied the knot at The Montage in Laguna Beach at the beginning of this year. The weather couldn't have been more perfect in January! They wanted an ocean view front ceremony followed by a casual buffet luncheon by the patio. The Montage was such a perfect venue! The amazing weather made the beach, which was just steps away from the venue, the perfect backdrop for clean, simple, but beautiful photos.
Instead of focusing on reception decor, Emily wanted a grand ceremony with 15-foot-tall cherry blossom trees along with lush florals by Milieu Florals. We also rented 40-foot-long green hedges and green topiaries as aisle treatments to impress the guests. I love incorporating non-floral props and unique pieces that can enhance the decor. These long green hedges definitely did the trick. :) Guests were impressed as soon as they saw the ceremony site!
Soft pink, mauve, lavender, ivory, slate grey, and gold made up the color palette for their classic, yet rustic, theme. The lavender gave a nice pop of color to the centerpieces and the bridal bouquet.
Without further ado, here are the lovely images from Jana Williams.
Emily ordered white-lace letterpress invites from Minted. We love ordering paper goods from Minted because they make it so easy! Free samples, fast turnaround period

I mean, how amazing is this bridal bouquet from Milieu Florals. Absolutely flawless! |
We tucked in escort cards into 8ft green hedge walls! |
How amazing are these 15ft cherry blossom trees! Our staff was up and running from 6am to oversee all the rental set up but it's SO worth it when you see the end result! |
Of course, Jana sneaked in some more beach photos after the reception! |
Since the lunch reception ended early, we also included a Korean traditional tea ceremony (Paebaek) for Eric's family members who flew in all the way from Korea!
Here are the awesome vendor teams who made this wedding possible!
