Sylvia & Dongmin's part II is finally here! I had a wonderful time catching up with these two love birds for lunch today after the wedding and I'm sure they'll be even more tired as they fly out to Singapore for a 2nd reception, then to Texas for a 3rd one. Talk about a true celebration for the whole month! I know I say this all the time, but I really love this couple....Dongmin's calm & gentle spirited and Sylvia's bright & bubbly personality... They're total opposites, but you know what they say about how opposites attract!
Before I give off any of the detailed images, this shot of Sylvia has to be MY FAVORITE SHOT. All photos courtesy of oh so talented Jennifer S. Rau
Dongmin & the groomsmen looking too sexy & sleek in their Hugo Boss suits.
The girls are wearing ButterbyNadia dresses a.k.a the magic dress that can be wrapped incalculable ways.
Loving this shot of the whole bridal party!
Awesome aisle treatment by Fiore Flower and isn't Sylvia's little sister such a cutie?? Sylvia also bought these cute hair pieces from Chelsea's "oh, my deer for all the bridesmaids
Loved the architectural backdrop of the library and awesome job on the lighting from Luna Party Rentals
Ring bearer pillow was specially made by Brooklyn Bride , the purple shoes were from Rickard Shah & the special cufflinks were purchased from Etsy.
Kayla of Kayla's Kakes went above and beyond with the dessert bar. I had one of my assistants guard the table because we saw some guests sneaking into the dessert bar before the bride and groom even cut the cake :)
Personalized cookies, mini cupcakes, individually wrapped Hershey's chocolates, meringue and macaroons and so much more!!
we had guests fill out their favor/place boxes and personalized bags to take their favorite desserts of the evening.
Kayla's two tier fondant cake with purple anemones to match the bridal bouquet.
The sweetheart table was set up in front of their office building where they first met each other. They said it was love at first sight!
Kissing balls and white lanterns hung on the tree where they tied the knot...
we also placed each silver napkin with dried lavender with personalized menu cards
Instead of the boring table numbers, we set up 13 different city names that Dongmin and Sylvia traveled. From Madrid, Sydney, Austin, Seoul to New York.. Each table had its own city theme as the background. Guest book was purchased by a local etsy seller.
Patina is known for their top notch service & food... everything was scrumptious!
Just finished another fab wedding and I am counting down the days for when my in-laws get here from Korea to watch the baby. I'm totally getting myself a magic straight perm, facial message & date nights to watch a movie with my hubby... Gosh.. I really can't recall the last time I watched a movie................ and time to just hang out with girlfriends without the baby!! woohoo!!!!!
