Lidia & Ricardo are the youngest couple I've worked with this year. (They're both 23 years old!!) They were one of the most easy going, cute & lovable couples. It was actually Lidia's mom who contacted me about our services for her daughter's wedding beginning of this year and she was also a breeze to work with.
I swear the Langham hotel attracts all the princess brides who love everything with sparkles & pink! Lidia looked absolutely stunning in all of her 4 gowns (she had two different wedding gowns for the ceremony & reception, changed into paebek during dinner AND changed into a short cocktail dress for dancing hour!) She did it all with poise and excitement because of her youth! Seriously, I get stressed even picking out my daily wardrobe. Lidia & Ricardo were both raised in Argentina and came to the states with their families 5-6 years ago. They run their family business and it's so cool how they can perfectly speak all three languages; Spanish, English & Korean.
For Lidia's day, she wanted a princess classic affair with black and white accents. Chandeliers are all around the langham hotel lobby so we incorporated a few of the chandelier details into our escort cards, table numbers & menu cards and a few black ribbon treatment to our small arrangements including the bridesmaids' dresses.
Blue 22 did an awesome job capturing their fun, young & lively spirit from the day! They're SO in love!!
It was my first time working with the Larchmont Florist and they outdid themselves by giving us so many fresh peonies when they weren't even in season!
For the ceremony decor, I wanted a clean, white chiffon drape arch and Larchmont Florist did an AMAZING job pulling off this look! Just all phalaenopsis orchids with blush pink and grey satin ribbons to loosely tie the drape and hanging votives with crystals inside! *swoon*
Another signature touch (the project I worked on to surprise Lidia)was the escort card table set up with a candy buffet station. After guests had picked up their escort cards displayed on white crystal trays from Z Gallery, we then quickly turned the table around to a candy buffet station. I tell you, the candy/dessert bars are so overdone right now but it's still a huge hit among guests!
For the reception decor, we went with the classic tall & short arrangements all made up of blush pink peonies, roses, tulips and hydrangeas with crystal drapings. We had white chiavari chairs with blush pink cushions & blush pink linens for our guest tables and small clusters of different sized arrangements for the head table to give off a fun, lively look. The white dance floor in the middle gave the ballroom a cleaner, elegant & princess-y look!
These photos don't do any justice because the arrangements were humongous & lush!
Guests were greeted with a sweet blush pink macaroons on each table as favors.
Such a classic all white peony bouquet wrapped in crystal band for our princess bride! :)
This is going to be my favorite arch of the year. SO elegant, simple yet sophisticated...
LOVED Lidia's 2nd dress from Enzoani & her Jimmy Choo was a perfect touch for her princess look! :)
Aren't they SO adorable together?? :)
